02.01 年間第4主日 The Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time　

「心の貧しい人々は幸いである。天の国はその人たちのものである。」争いやいさかいのない世界を願って緑を基調に生けました。
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
With a longing for a world free from conflict and discord, I arranged the flowers with green as the central theme.

02.08 年間第5主日 The Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time　

ハランを中心にストックと、紫とピンクのスターチス、カーネーションを四旬節に向けて生けました。
I arranged stock, purple and pink statice, and carnations with aspidistra as the focal foliage in preparation for Lent.

02.15 年間第6主日 The Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time　

蕾の菜の花を主に、緑色と黄色のスプレーカーネーション、ルスカス、ブプレリウムを選び緑色を基調にして生けました。

I arranged the piece with budding rapeseed blossoms as the main element, complemented by green and yellow spray carnations, ruscus, and bupleurum, creating a composition centered on shades of green.

02.22 四旬節第一主日 First Sunday of Lent　

枯山水風に………という難しいテーマに初挑戦でした。渋めの水盤に川砂を入れ、海で拾ってきた石を配置してみました。この石、何年も前に新潟の海で拾ってきて庭に置いてたものです。まさか出番が来るとは思いませんでした。

It was my first attempt at creating something in the style of kare‑sansui, which was quite a challenging theme. I filled a subdued water basin with river sand and arranged some stones I had picked up at the seaside. These stones were ones I collected years ago on the coast of Niigata and had kept in my garden. I never imagined they would one day have their moment to shine.
