灰の水曜日のお知らせ　Ash Wednesday Notice

2月18日（水）は灰の水曜日です。
四旬節の始まりにあたり、以下のとおりミサと灰の授与が行われます。

ミサの時間

• 10:00 ミサ
• 19:00 ミサ

灰の授与

• 7:00〜20:00 の間、いつでも灰を受けることができます。
• 司祭の負荷軽減のため、毎時ちょうど、または30分頃に来ていただけると助かります。

大斎・小斎について

灰の水曜日は 大斎と小斎を守る日 です。

小斎
肉類を食べないこと。

大斎（18〜60歳の信者）
1日に1回の十分な食事と、朝ともう1回の軽い食事のみとします。

“Ash Wednesday Mass” on February 18 will be celebrated at 10:00 and 19:00.

Distribution of Ashes

You may receive ashes anytime between 7:00 and 20:00.
To ease the priest’s workload, it would be helpful if you could come on the hour or around the half-hour.

Fasting and Abstinence

Catholics observe Fasting (TAISAI) and Abstinence (SHOSAI) on this day.

Abstinence:
Refraining from eating meat.

Fasting (ages 18–60):
One full meal and two smaller meals that do not equal a full meal.
