今週の花は、ドラセナとユリとピンクのカーネーションとソリダコと紫のスターチスです。

This week's floral arrangement features dracaena, lilies, pink carnations, solidago, and purple statice.

　

2026.08.09 年間第19主日 19th Sunday in Ordinary Time

まだまだ暑さが続きます。今週の花は、蕾の多いスカシユリと赤とピンクのヒペリカム、白系のハイブリッドスターチス、葉物はハランにしました。暑さの中、順番に蕾が開いて、お花が少しでも長持ちしてくれる事を願います。

The hot weather is still continuing. This week's arrangement features Asiatic lilies with many buds, red and pink hypericum berries, white hybrid statice, and aspidistra leaves for greenery. I hope that, despite the heat, the buds will bloom one after another and that the flowers will last as long as possible.

　

2026.08.16 年間第20主日 20th Sunday in Ordinary Time

小ぶりのユリとソリダコでスッキリと低めにいけました。お花が高い時期なので庭のハランを大量に使用してボリュームを出しました。

I arranged a small variety of lilies and solidago in a neat, low arrangement. Since flowers are expensive this time of year, I used a generous amount of aspidistra leaves from my garden to add volume and fullness.

2026.08.23 年間第21主日 21st Sunday in Ordinary Time

ユリ(八重)、トルコキキョウ(ピンク、ヴァイオレット)、レモンリーフ同系色のお花を使っていけました。

I arranged this piece using flowers in similar tones: double lilies, lisianthus in pink and violet, and lemon leaf foliage.

年間第22主日「自分の十字架を背負ってわたしに従いなさい」のみ言葉に沿って白色と緑を基調に生けました。

Following the Gospel message of the 22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time, “Take up your cross and follow me,” I arranged the flowers using white and green as the main colors.
