「マルコ福音書を読む」開講のお知らせ　Announcement: Opening of the “Reading the Gospel of Mark” Course

5月から髙瀬神父様の講座｢マルコ福音書を読む｣が始まります。

日時：第2・第4金曜日10時00分から11時00分

新約聖書の中で最も古い福音書と考えられているマルコ福音書は、簡潔で力強い語り口によって、イエス・キリストの歩みを生き生きと伝えています。そこには、神の子イエスとはどのようなお方か、弟子とは何か、信仰とは何か、そして十字架と復活が私たちに何をもたらすのか、という大切な問いが凝縮されています。

この講座では、まず聖書と福音書についての基本を確認し、その後、マルコ福音書の成立、作者、読者、中心テーマを学びます。そして後半では、マルコ福音書に特徴的な箇所を丁寧に読みながら、この福音書が現代の私たちに語りかけているメッセージを味わって いきます。

受講にあたって

毎回、扱う箇所を事前に一度読んで参加すると、より実り豊かな学びになります。難しい専門知識がなくても参加できます。福音書を初めてじっくり読む方にも、あらためて読み直したい方にも開かれた講座です。ともにみことばに耳を傾け、マルコ福音書の証しする キリストに出会う時間としていきたいと思います。

総論

The Gospel of Mark, considered the earliest of the New Testament Gospels, conveys the life of Jesus Christ with a concise and powerful narrative style. Within its pages are condensed the essential questions: Who is Jesus, the Son of God? What does it mean to be a disciple? What is faith? And what do the Cross and the Resurrection bring to us?

In this course, we will begin by reviewing the basic foundations of the Bible and the Gospels. We will then study the composition of the Gospel of Mark—its origin, author, intended audience, and central themes. In the latter half, we will read key passages characteristic of Mark with care, allowing us to appreciate the message this Gospel speaks to us today.

What We Hope to Cherish in This Study Group

Reading the assigned passage once beforehand will make each session even more fruitful. No specialized knowledge is required to participate. This course is open both to those who are reading a Gospel carefully for the first time and to those who wish to revisit it with fresh eyes. Together, we hope to listen to the Word of God and encounter Christ as witnessed in the Gospel of Mark.
