ミサはカトリック教会の一番大切な祈りです。 司祭をつとめる神父の司式のもと、信仰をもつ人々が心をひとつにして共同体で行う祭儀です。 日曜日以外の平日にも、また結婚式や葬儀でもミサは捧げられます。
ミサの由来は、キリストが十字架に磔となられる前日、弟子たちと食事をともにされた 「最後の晩餐」です。 この晩餐でキリストは、パンとブドウ 酒を用いてご自分を記念することをお定めになりました。 私たちはミサを行うことでキリストの死と復活を記念し、神様に命を捧げられたキリストに心を合わせるのです。みなさんも、ぜひ教会のミサで神様の息吹を感じてみてください。
Mass is the most important prayer of the Catholic Church. It is a communal ritual where people of faith come together as one under the priest. Masses are celebrated on weekdays other than Sundays, as well as at weddings and funerals.
The origin of the Mass is the “Last Supper,” where Christ shared a meal with his disciples on the day before his crucifixion. At this supper Christ decided to commemorate himself with bread and wine. By doing Mass, we commemorate the death and resurrection of Christ and unite our hearts with Christ who gave his life to God. Please feel the breath of God at the church mass!
