On October 14th, 2017, the Catholic Matsudo Church had a healing mass in honor of St. Pio of Pietrelcina.

Delegates from the Philippine Center for St. Pio of Pietrelcina, Inc. brought to Japan the glove relic of St. Pio.
This is the 4th visit of the group to the church.

A stampita of St. Benedict and some medals were distributed when the people started coming in the church.

A rite of eucharistic exposition and benediction of the blessed sacrament started at 5:00 pm, presided by the Parish Priest, Fr. Philip Ilio Bonifacio, SSC with the song “ O Saving Victim “ .

Fr. Philip talked about the life of St. Pio after which everybody then observed silence and focused their attention to the Eucharist and feel the real presence of Jesus Christ.

After about 20 minutes of silence, the presider incensed the monstrance and the people sang the Tantum Ergo and repeated the Divine Praises after the presider.

The people then prayed the Holy rosary lead by the MCCIC followed by the veneration of the relic.

People sang Salve regina…

At 7:00 pm, the holy mass started. During the communion, a blessed bracelet rosaries were distributed to the people as a small token.
