The MICHIKOTO United celebrated its 11th year FILCOM day last 29th of May, 2016.
The celebration started with a Holy mass celebrated by our very own Fr. Philip ILIO Bonifacio, SSC and concelebrated by Fr. Yasuo Watanabe of Toyoshiki Catholic Church.
As special guest, Minister Angelica Escalona of the Philippine Embassy came to give her inspirational speech. Also guests from Philippine National Bank, Metrobank, Philippine Airlines, and Mr. Frank Ocampos came to witness the event.

This year as part of the celebration and thanksgiving- a liturgical Dance Contest, titled “ Worship and Praises” was highlighted. The Matsudo-MCCIC got the 1st place – dancing the “You raise me up and The prayer”; the Ichikawa-EMC got the second place- dancing the “ I will follow him and Joyful, joyful”; the Toyoshiki-FICT got the 3rd place- dancing, “ Give thanks and How great is our God” and Koiwa-KCFC got the fourth place dancing “ Mercy seat”. This was the first time for them to have done the liturgical dance contest but most of the audience were touched of how beautiful and spirit-filled the dances were.

After the Liturgical Dance contest, people were requested to proceed to the Maria hall to continue with the program, raffle, contest for the “ Mr. and Ms MICHIKOTO 2016” for adults and “Little Mr. and Ms. MICHIKOTO 2016” for children and enjoyed the delicious food prepared by each community.
There were about 250 people who came and join the celebration.
With the theme, “ That we may be ONE, moving forward with faith, hope and love”, with the guidance of their founder and adviser, Fr. Philip Ilio Bonifacio, SSC, the MICHIKOTO United’s Chairman, Pex Aguilar, is positive that the four communities that compose it will continue to grow as one.
