The Matsudo- MCCIC went for a one day bus tour to Mikazuki Ryugujo hotel on September 18th, 2017.

According to the weather forecast it was supposed to be a rainy and stormy day but it turned out to be a clear, bright, sunny day just right for a trip like this.
The group assembled at the church from 7:30am and left at 8:00am. Fr. Philip Ilio Bonifacio, SSC said an opening prayer, followed by a rosary.

Each one was given a hamburger and bottled water. Coffee was also served in the bus. Members started to sing and dance while on the bus. Even just going to the place was real fun already.

We stepped at the hotel before 10:00am , got our locker keys, yukata slip, lunch coupon, changed our clothes and begun to plunge in the pool at the ocean park. There were many people but not so crowded. It is a nice place.

We then had our lunch at around 12 noon and then soaked our bodies in the hot/cold springs. We even tried the silver and gold tubs. It’s indeed relaxing.
Everybody was ready to go to Kisarazu Premium Outlet at 3pm. Some bought something for them and some just had a snack or coffee there.

We also dropped by the aqualine and took some photos before going back to Matsudo Church.

There were 18 adults and 7 children who joined the mini bus tour.
It was quite an unwinding, refreshing and fruitful day for the MCCIC.

Today, the MICHIKOTO United celebrated their 12th year FILCOM Day.🇵🇷

The weather was a bit cloudy and hot. However, parishioners from Matsudo, Ichikawa, Koiwa and Toyoshiki couldn’t stop from coming to Matsudo Church.

We could hear the choir singing as they practiced from around 1 pm. Then, picture taking by community with their founder, Fr. Philip Ilio Bonifacio, SSC took place starting with Matsudo Community, followed by Ichikawa, Koiwa  and Toyoshiki . The Holy mass begun at 2 pm. Most of the people came wearing their beautiful traditional Filipiniana attire.

We had so much joy and fun watching the different groups performing their folk dances- the theme of the year.

The first group to perform was Ichikawa community dancing a combination of “ Aray ” and ” Polkabal “.

Followed by the Toyoshiki community who danced the ” Maglalatik“, a dance using coconut shells to make sounds.

Koiwa community followed dancing the “Pagapir“- a muslim fan dance.

The last to perform was the Matsudo group – the who performed the dance of balance or the ” Banga” dance which is a cordillera dance.

The audience was stunned how creative the banga dance was performed.

The Matsudo community won the liturgical dance contest during the Filcom Day last year and now, Matsudo community brought home the bacon again. 😀 👑 😀

After the dance contest, we had the blessing of the food and enjoyed savoring the Filipino food. There were about 250 people who came and witnessed the event.

EMC(Ichikawa group)

KCIC(Koiwa group)

FICT(Toyoshiki group)

The Michikoto United would like to thank their founder, Fr. Philip Ilio Bonifacio, SSC and their host – Koiwa community for another successful event. 😀❤️😀

The MCCIC holds a 1,000 Hail Marys prayer for peace after their usual English mass in honor of Our Lady of Fatima Centennial Pilgrim Tour last July 9th 2017, Sunday.

It started around 2:40 pm and finished at 7:30 pm. We prayed the 15 mysteries of Joyful, Sorrowful and Glorious and followed by praying the 50 Hail Marys mentioning the petitions every after the 50 Hail Marys and singing the Ave Maria.
It was a very solemn time spent with Our Lady.

Sister Michelle and Sister Rosa also gave a short talk to the group after the prayer was done. Sister Michelle gave emphasis on the change of life by remembering the 4 elements, CARE which stands for Confession, Adoration, Rosary and Eucharist. Most of the members of the group were touched of her talk.

We conveyed to them how thankful we were for visiting the Matsudo Church and hope to see them again. The 1,000 Hail Marys was attended by about 20-25 people.
It was another beautiful and spiritual day.
